The Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books to children from birth to age five. Funding for Oconee County is shared by DPIL and local community partners through OARC. This program, which mails a free book to each child monthly, currently serves over 1,100 children in Oconee County. $31 sponsors a child for one year, and $620 sponsors a future classroom of 20 children.
