The Support Our Seniors program serves senior citizens in Oconee County who have been identified as needing extra support, through monthly social gatherings that include lunch, an activity or educational speaker, and BINGO. Seniors take home a bag of food and/or household items each month, and benefit from extra food and gifts during the Christmas holidays. During the summer and fall, seniors receive fresh vegetables weekly through a partnership with the Master Gardener’s Program. The Support Our Seniors program is supported by individuals, churches, and civic groups.
